Introduction

The tour looks at five selected pieces that have found their way into the collection of the Landesmuseum Mainz through the dedicated support of the museum’s Association of Friends. The exhibits include important archaeological finds, figures from the porcelain collection of the 18th century or works by the artist Max Slevogt.

It is not only the objects themselves but also their interesting stories that have found a home in the Landesmuseum. We would like to tell you some of these on this tour.
