Further sales from the Siegmund Levi Collection were identified in the course of the research. For example, the Siegmund Levis tax file in the Hessian Main State Archives contains a reference to the sale of part of his collection on 8 and 9 June 1937 at Max Perl in Berlin. In the report of the tax investigation office, the works offered there are listed with a value of RM 2,065.
In the corresponding auction catalogue, the consignors are not listed by their real names. The abbreviations of several consignors would match the name Siegmund Levi. However, if one adds up all the estimated prices of the items consigned by the consignor with the abbreviation "L", the total corresponds to the 2,065 RM stated in the report of the tax investigation office. The consignor with the abbreviation [45] L is therefore most likely Siegmund Levi. In view of the date of the disposals, the works would certainly be classified as cultural property seized as a result of Nazi persecution.
