In Judaism, books are more than just sources of knowledge; they connect readers with tradition and community. Jewish learning is based on books – the teacher accompanies the learning process, but it is the book that provides the information. In 1933, the National Socialists burn the books of Jewish authors in Rhineland-Palatinate and beyond – an attack on humanity, remembrance and culture. Our book wall displays a selection of Jewish literature and other works.
