Fan scarf from 1. FSV Mainz 05 sports club

The fan scarf represents the active involvement of Jewish citizens in the FSV Mainz 05 sports club. Eugen Salomon joins the club immediately after it is established in March 1905. He produces the club’s statutes and becomes its Chairman in October 1905. During his tenure on the board, the club experiences a successful phase in the 1920s and early 1930s, including the construction of its new stadium at Fort Bingen, a large proportion of which is funded by Salomon.
