Chuppa: Wedding ring

The inside of the ring is engraved with the well-known congratulatory phrase “Mazel tov!”. A Jewish wedding usually does not involve an exchange of rings; instead, only the groom places the ring on the bride’s finger. In liberal streams, on the other hand, bridal pairs typically exchange rings.
